Transcontinental Railroads Exhibit Opens

The First Transcontinental Railroad opened the western part of America, allowing people to cross the nation in less than a week. This exhibit covers the legislation that was needed to approve the construction. As well as the two companies responsible for building the 1,776-mile railroad. Finally, it discusses the impact of the railroad, both positive and negative.

Exhibit will be up until June.
